Toyota's first new 4Runner SUV in 25 years will offer a hybrid engine
Toyota recently unveiled the new 2025 4Runner SUV, completing its redesign of trucks and SUVs. The latest model shares a resemblance to the recently redesigned Toyota Tacoma pickup. What sets the 2025 4Runner apart is the introduction of a hybrid engine option, an exciting addition for the first time in the 4Runner’s history. The new model will also offer high-end trims called ‘Platinum’ and ‘Trailhunter’. Toyota’s ’truck family’ includes the Tacoma, Tundra, Land Cruiser, and Sequoia, with the 4Runner being the last to receive a redesign. Pricing details will be released closer to the vehicle’s on-sale date. The 2025 4Runner will be available in nine models, featuring various styles and features for different preferences. Production is taking place at Toyota’s Tahara plant in Japan.
