Toyota is issuing a recall for approximately 100,000 Tundra pickups and 3,500 Lexus LX 600 luxury SUVs due to a potential engine issue. Some vehicles may have debris left in the engine during the manufacturing process, which can result in knocking, rough running, and even engine stalling while driving. The recall affects 2022 and 2023 model year Tundras and LX 600s, but only the regular gasoline-powered versions. Toyota is currently working to determine a fix and will notify owners by the end of July. Once a repair solution is identified, affected owners can take their vehicles to a Toyota dealer for free repairs.
