Protesters attempt to storm Tesla's factory in Germany

As many as 800 activists gathered outside a factory near Berlin Friday to protest its expansion plans, and some of them clashed with police as they attempted to break into the plant. The protesters attempted to storm the factory, and at least one protester was detained. A spokesperson for the protestors claimed there was police violence and injuries. The protestors argue that the expansion plans would damage the local environment by clearing forests and straining the water supply. Tesla shut the factory in anticipation of the protests. Police had prepared for extensive operations.
