A property in Orono with panoramic views of Lake Minnetonka’s Crystal Bay, inspired by the East Coast, has been listed for sale at nearly $11m.

Coldwell Banker Realty's listing for the property says that it sits on 2.88 acres and has 350 feet of shoreline facing southwest, offering waterfront views as well as privacy. According to the listing, this 9,683 square-foot house has French doors that open onto backyard patios and walls of windows. It offers a mix of indoor and outdoor life.

In an email sent to the Business Journal, listing agent Jeffrey Dewing of Coldwell Banker Realty said, "This acreage, and lakeshore so close in, are definitely a valuable and rare commodity."

The upper level includes a large office with custom-made woodwork, guest rooms, a laundry area, and a spacious main suite with two bathrooms. According to the listing, there are four bedrooms and six baths in total.

The lower level is a walkout and has a family room, exercise room, storage area, game room, and storage. The listing states that the home was built in 1999 and has three garages. The home also features a guest house.

The listing states that the property at 1655 Bohns Point Road is at the end of the'sought after Bohns Point', located on land that extends into Lake Minnetonka’s Crystal Bay.

Business Journal reports that homes along Bohns Point Road, and North Shore Drive adjacent to it, have been listed and sold for high prices.

This included a six bedroom, seven bathroom home in Bohns Point which was listed at $12.9 million and sold for just under $7.6 millions last fall.

According to Hennepin County records, the last time this home sold was in 2012. It went for $4.4M. The home was listed at a lower price due to the fact that it was bank-owned.

According to county property records, the home's annual tax is $86,432. Ellen DeHaven of Coldwell Banker Realty is also co-listing this property.
