Research shows that artificial intelligence assistants can also change our minds without our knowledge.

Researchers from around the world conducted a study in which they found that, when asked to use AI to assist them with writing an essay, the AI could influence them to write either an essay for or against a certain view, depending on how biased the algorithm was. This exercise also influenced the subject's opinions about the topic after the exercise.
