Brooks Running promotes VP to head of footwear
This is a press release announcing that Carson Caprara has been appointed as the Vice President of Global Footwear at Brooks.

Brooks Running, a footwear and apparel company based in Fremont, has appointed long-time employee Carson Caprara to the position of senior vice president for footwear.
Caprara began working for Brooks in 2005, as a marketing manager. He replaces Patrick Pons de Vier who left the footwear division in May, after having led it since 2015.
In a press release, CEO Jim Weber stated that Brooks has a large team of talented and hardworking individuals. "Carson's runner focused, learning mindset helped us lead through times of changing expectations from runners. "His fingerprints can be found on many of the successes we have achieved in the almost two decades since he joined the brand."
Brooks was founded in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania in 1914. It is the oldest athletic footwear and apparel retailer in America. In the 1990s, the brand relocated its headquarters to Bothell before moving to its current location in the Fremont/Wallingford region in 2014. Berkshire Hathaway Inc. acquired it in 2006.
The company's revenue in 2022 will exceed $1.2 billion. Brooks announced last year that it would be expanding its Seattle office footprint by pre-leasing Stone 35, a mixed-use development under construction just north of 3400 Stone Way N.
Caprara's new role will include overseeing all Brooks global footwear design, product development, management, and merchandising. He was most recently vice president of footwear management and merchandising.
Caprara stated, "It's been an amazing journey working with the Brooks team for the last 14 years." "I'm grateful to have a team of talented and passionate mentors who are dedicated to building products that will benefit runners and walkers."
