Boston Business Journal unveils its ranked Fast 50

The Boston Business Journal announced its Fast 50 Honorees on Wednesday night at an event held at the Westin Copley Place.

The Fast 50 recognizes the fastest-growing private businesses in the state, as determined by Business Journal's Research Department. Companies that failed to achieve revenue growth between 2021 and 2022 were excluded from consideration.

How did the companies perform in general this year? The 50th company in this year's ranking had a growth rate of more than 106%. This is compared to the 97% growth rate for the 50th firm on last year’s list. The top 50 companies on the list this year will generate approximately $9,810442,738 cumulative revenue by 2022.

Innovation-focused companies continue to dominate our list of the top 50 companies. As with the list from last year, at least twenty of these companies are in the technology sector, ranging from software platform providers and IT consultants to other tech-enabled business.
