Bosch acquiring TSI Semiconductors' Roseville chip factory to quickly deliver EV technology, Chairman Hartung says
Bosch is acquiring TSI Semiconductors' chip fabrication plant in order to quickly bring a new generation of silicon carbide chips to market.

The chairman of Bosch announced that the German company will acquire TSI Semiconductors, a chip fabrication facility in Roseville. This acquisition is expected to help Bosch bring a new silicon carbide chip generation to market quickly.
Stefan Hartung, Chairman of the Board of Management of Stuttgart-based Bosch, stated in an interview with Bloomberg Television that he wanted the Roseville facility to begin supplying chips to the automotive industry by 2016.
