OLIVE - The Bank of Hillsboro plans to move to 801 W. Main St., Mt. Olive in December.

The new facility, according to bank officials, will feature safe deposit boxes as well as additional drive-through lanes in a modernized banking environment.

We are thrilled to announce that we have a permanent home in Mt. Olive, which highlights our long-term dedication to the community", said Bank of Hillsboro CEO and President Misty Borrowman. We are looking forward to extending our role as permanent members of the community by increasing our support for Mt. Olive schools and organizations, investing locally, and hiring local people."

Mt. Olive branch located at 218 W. Main St. is now open for customers to open an account or be put on a waiting list to receive a safe-deposit box at the new location. Bank of Hillsboro will also provide information and updates about the move during the summer and fall in order to ensure that its customers have a smooth transition.
