Trinity University has decided not to renew their contract with Aramark Campus LLC. The concessionaire claims that this decision will affect approximately 120 employees, including over a dozen salaried workers.

Business Journal obtained information from the Texas Workforce Commission that the company shared.

We regret to inform that all Aramark staff assigned to this client account will be impacted.

Aramark, a global firm based in Philadelphia that provides a range of support services including food service, facility management, uniform services, and hospitality management.

Officials from the company have confirmed that workers on leave or hourly associates who are scheduled to be laid off at the end this spring semester will not be called back to work at Trinity.

In its letter to TWC, Aramark said that 'Aramark anticipates terminating permanently the employment of their employees at Trinity University on May 31, 2023.

Aramark officials have also stated that some affected workers may be able to continue their employment with the new provider.
